At Acacia, we are committed to making sure that all mothers receive equitable access to excellent perinatal mental health support services and information. To help with this, we have produced a series of short multilingual films, each in a different language: Punjabi, Mirpuri, Urdu, Gujarati, Slovakian and Dari. Each film aims to raise awareness of perinatal mental health issues in a culturally appropriate way and explain how to seek help. We are hoping that these films are dissemintated far and wide in the UK and this is only the beginning. More films/languages will be added as funding allows. Click on the films below to view. If you would like to share the films with others by email/txt just cut and paste these youtube links: Dr Zahera Kapasi Talks About Perinatal Mental Health in Gujarati - YouTube Dr Anita talks about perinatal mental health in Urdu - YouTube Amandeep Soomal talks about perinatal mental health in Punjabi - YouTube Katarina Rigova talks about perinatal mental health in Slovak - YouTube Faiza Rehman talks about perinatal mental health in Mirpuri - YouTube Dr Anita talks about perinatal mental health in Dari - YouTube If you'd like to share the films on social media (please do!) either cut and paste the links above into a message/page or just click on the video and a 'Share' arrow should appear in the top right of the video pane, just click on this and choose where you want to share it to.
