Join us for one of our most spectacular challenge events!
Flown
by one of their top class professional wingwalking display pilots, you will fly
on the top wing of a classic 1940’s Boeing Stearman biplane. From the
overwhelming excitement of take off, you will enjoy beautiful views and an
enormous sense of freedom as you soar through the sky, cheered on by family and
friends. There is a lovely picnic viewing area and the plane will come over
this several times allowing your supporters to get a really good view of you!
They are based in the beautiful Cotswolds (GL7 7DF) with the plan being for the event to take place on 18th June 2025 (a weekday as this keeps the cost a little lower for you).
Cost
We
have a couple of cost options available to you:
Option 1: Pay for your own place.
Pay a £150 non-refundable deposit and then
pay the remaining £249 balance yourself 4 weeks prior to the event. This means
100% of your sponsorship will come to Acacia, there is no minimum sponsorship,
raise what you can, but please aim high!
Option
2: Pay a £150 non-refundable deposit and pledge to raise at least £599
through sponsorship. The charity will cover the remaining £249 for your Wing
Walk.
“We ask all participants
to be transparent in their fundraising and to let their sponsors know if any of
the money fundraised will be used to cover the costs of their wing walk.” We
ask that you include a statement in your fundraising page to explain this.
